Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Yash Jani, operating AuraSync as a sole proprietor based in Ontario, Canada (“we”), handles personal information when you use AuraSync. If you have questions, contact us at privacy@aurasync.love.

Account & profile: email, name, birthdate, gender, city, height, weight, education, occupation, and the bio you write.

Compatibility data: your questionnaire answers and how important each one is to you, and your stated preferences (age range, height range, kids, drinking, smoking, education, and, explicitly with your consent during setup, political ideology, religion, and race/ethnicity). These last three are sensitive categories of data; we collect them only because you choose to provide them for matching purposes, and only use them for that purpose.

Schedule: the weekly free-time availability you provide, used to weigh how well your schedule overlaps with a potential match’s.

Contact info for matches: whatever contact method you choose to share (email, phone, a handle) is stored, but only ever shown to another member once you have a mutual match with them, never before.

Age verification: either your self-attested confirmation of being 18+, or, if you sign in with Google and share it, the birthday on your Google account; and for flagged/reported accounts, or members who opt into the kink section, the result of a document-based check performed by our verification provider (we don’t receive or store the document itself).

Vedic astrology (fully optional): if you choose to opt in to the optional Gun Milan compatibility feature, your birth date, time, and place. This is never used for matching, only to compute a compatibility score shown to you and a match after you’ve both separately opted in. You can delete this data at any time from Settings.

Kink section (fully optional): if you opt in and complete the section’s separate age verification, your selected interest tags and any prompt answers you write. This section, and the data in it, is entirely separate from the rest of AuraSync and requires its own opt-in.

Billing: your subscription status and billing dates. Payment card details are collected and stored directly by our payment processors (Stripe for the main membership; a separate, isolated processor for the kink section’s verification fee). We never see or store your full card number.

Technical data: basic request logs (IP address, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention, generated automatically by our hosting infrastructure.

To run the daily matching process; to show you your match and let you act on it; to verify you’re old enough to use AuraSync; to process your subscription; to keep the service secure and prevent abuse; and to communicate with you about your account. We do not use your data to show you ads, and we do not sell your personal information.

Other members, only on a mutual match: your chosen contact info, and the profile information you’ve provided (never a photo, because we don’t collect one).

Service providers who process data on our behalf: Google Firebase/Cloud (authentication and hosting infrastructure), Stripe (membership payments and identity verification), Resend (transactional email), and, only for members who opt into the kink section, a separate identity-verification provider and payment processor for that section’s one-time fee. Each only receives what it needs to do its job.

We don’t share your data with data brokers or advertisers, and we don’t share your religion, race, or political views with anyone except as needed to compute your matches.

AuraSync runs on Google Cloud infrastructure, and is operated from Ontario, Canada. If you’re located elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in Canada, which is recognized as providing an adequate level of data protection by several other jurisdictions.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your profile, questionnaire answers, preferences, and contact info within 30 days, except where we’re required to retain records (for example, billing records for tax purposes) for longer.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most of your information directly in Settings (including a self-service data export and account deletion), or contact us at privacy@aurasync.love for anything else.

We use only what’s strictly necessary to keep you signed in (via Firebase Authentication) and remember your theme preference, not third-party advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Preferences page for the full detail.

AuraSync is not for anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we’ll delete it.

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll let you know before they take effect.
