Meeting up

Meet in public first

You matched through a real questionnaire, not a photo — which already puts you ahead of most first dates. Here’s how to make meeting up in person a good one, too.

Public place, every time

Coffee, not candlelight — at least for the first couple of meetups. Pick somewhere with other people, decent lighting, and an easy exit: a café, a busy patio, a bookstore with a bar. Save the rooftop-for-two for date four. Get yourself there and home again, too — a stranger's car is a plot twist nobody needs.

Loop someone in

Send a friend the who, where, and when before you go, and set a rough check-in time. “Send help” is a fine text to have ready — but “made it home, 9/10 would laugh at my own joke again” is a better one to actually send.

You're allowed to leave

Trust the feeling in your stomach over the small talk in your ears. If something's off, you can leave — no apology, no excuse, no closing statement required. Anyone worth your time will never make you feel bad for putting yourself first.

No rush, ever

Chat as long as you want before you meet. A good match now is still a good match next week — there's no timer counting down and no streak to protect. (You already knew that part; AuraSync doesn't do streaks.)

See something, say something

If someone lies about who they are, pressures you, or just plain creeps you out, tap Report on their match card. A real person reads every single report — not a bot, not a form letter into the void.

Still uneasy about someone?
You don’t need a reason to trust your gut. Report the profile, block them, or just quietly move on — all fine options, all entirely up to you.
